Isabella McKinley was born in 1884 at Beaver, Pennsylvania. When a small child the family moved to Minnesota and settled in Wright County. She married Albert Roberts in 1868 and in 1884 the family settled on a farm near Devils Lake, N.D. This reminiscence was written by one of their children recounting events in the life of the family.
